Dear Yuletide Author,

Thank you in advance! I am generally quite easy to please. I can get on board most ships and enjoy a truly unique idea as much as I enjoy a worn-in trope. I do lean more toward relationships than general fics, though. I'll throw some ideas out but if you've got your own idea for these characters I'm happy to read it.

My general likes: friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, pre-canon, post-canon, missing scenes, angst (so much angst), hopeful endings. I also enjoy crossovers (my ao3 profile has a mostly updated list of the shows I know well).

My general dislikes: smut that doesn't drive character development or plot, happy characters being angsty or angsty characters being happy for no obvious reason, second person pov, sailors who don't swear. (Yes, I did have a hard time coming up with a list of general dislikes.) AI makes me sad so please don't use it to write a story for me.

Here are some ideas for my fandom requests:

Request 1: Black Snow

(James Cormack, Hazel Baker, Nina Hirsh)

I'd like to see something about James and you can add in either Hazel and/or Nina (or neither, I guess).

I'm fascinated by James. He's so tortured but he also seems capable of much whimsy. I enjoy his friendship with Hazel and how it starts as a professional relationship but turns into them supporting each other. I am really intrigued by his feelings for his therapist--huge red flag but I am so here for it. Would love to see a fic that delves into his past relationships--both friendship and romance--and has him reflecting on his current state.

What must it be like for him to have been fueled for years to solve cold cases because of his brother's situation only for him to turn up alive? And how is he coming to terms with the fact that his memory of their childhood did not match his brother's memory of it? Maybe there is a canon divergent path forward for the brothers and their father. Does he have friends other than his boss and Hazel? Is he being delusional thinking that he and Nina can make something work or has he struck on something real here?

I'd be happy with a fic exploring his relationship with Nina or his friendship with Hazel (or flip it and make it a relationship with Hazel and a friendship with Nina, if that seems like it could work) or with something about his fucked up family.

The vibes are dark but James is doing his best (sometimes not doing it well) to keep that darkness at bay.

Request 2: Scrublands

(Byron Swift, Mandy Bond, Martin Scarsden)

I've read the books and watched Scrublands and the second season, Scrublands: Silver, so no worries about spoilers. Would love it if it featured all three of these characters but if you only want to focus on one, make it Byron.

I love Byron as a troubled character who doesn't seem to believe that he's troubled. He seems to accept that his past is in the past and has convinced himself he's a good man, now. I think he has the potential to be an unreliable narrator. I love his confidence in dealing with the men of the town and I love how he falls in love with Mandy and has this fantasy plan (or is it plausible?) of setting up a life with her. If he didn't die, how would their relationship have played out? Could he stick around to be a father to the baby or would they be on the run together?

Martin is fascinating. He's got his own demons to overcome. I like how his sense of identity is so tied up with being a journalist. I like the unlikely romance between him and Mandy and his desire to help the people of the town and solve the mystery of Byron Swift on their behalf.

While I love Byron/Mandy and Martin/Mandy, I could also see this being a fic that is pre-canon Julian Flynt (interesting that AO3 has him listed as Byron Swift and not Byron Swift|Julian Flynt) or a post-canon Martin (ignore season 2 or build off it). The sense of place for this show was huge for me. The drought and the dying small town felt like its own character. Same for season 2 with the small fishing town and the scenic beaches.

Request 3: Life

(Charlie Crews, Dani Reese)

Ted is fine to have as a background character, I'm just not sure I want him as a featured character.

I miss this show. It was light and funny while somehow also being dark and bleak. I'd love a look at where they might end up post-canon. Could they have had a relationship? Did they love each other? Will they end up loving each other? Do they both remain with the police? Possible interesting tropes for them: undercover, fake relationship, faked death, witness protection.

Request 4: Sea Patrol

(Kate, Dutchy, 2 Dads, Buffer)

I love all of these characters plus more that weren't nominated. I ship Kate with any of these three but I'm not opposed to shipping the guys with each other, if that's a direction you want to explore. Generally, I love the banter, the joking and teasing, the way they all have each other's backs even when they're being annoying. I also love how much angst there is--the physical danger, the mental stress of the job, being away at sea for so much time.

I'm in the midst of a multi-year obsession with 2 Dads and spend too much time trying to make him redeemable and then redeem him. Because the epilogue was so wrong for so many of them, but especially for him.

I think it's fun to try and make Dutchy and Buffer know each other because they never met in canon but they've got all these crewmates/friends in common so it seems like they would have crossed paths at some point.

Request 5: Rescue: HI-Surf

(Laka Hanohano, Will Ready, Emily Wright)

Cancelled too early. I think Laka is delightfully fun but has a nice balance of trying to be more mature and take responsibility. Will is obnoxious and I need him to just make up his mind. Em is wonderfully angsty and I think she's throwing a good thing with Sean if she keeps going after Will. However, if she and Will could figure out a way to make it work that would be great. Or it would be great if they can't figure it out and we get a lot of angst from them both.

Laka is my favorite. I love him trying to support Will but also being fed up with him. I love his whole responsibility arc. I would ship him with either Will or Em or in a poly situation with them.

Request 6: SouthLAnd
(Sammy Bryant, Tammi Bryant, Nate Moretta, Mariella Moretta)

I love the bond between Sammy and Nate. If Tammi were more of a traditional cops wife, the four of them would be having family picnics together and living somewhere with adjoining backyards. But she isn't and he picked her as a partner anyway, which is interesting. I love Sammy and Mari together after Nate's death. I love Sammy and baby Nate as a new type of family after Mari has moved and Tammi has lost herself. Does he stay with the force after Ben's betrayal? What does his life look like post-canon?

DNW: fluff, baby or pregnancy focus (I love that being a family man/father is such a part of Nate's identity and how excited Sammy is to have a baby, and pregnancy can be a fun background plot, but I'm not super thrilled with it as a main focus)

I just want him to have a moment of happiness with someone, though it is difficult to make happen. I love the idea of him and Siobhan becoming a real couple and doing regular couple things like dates and road trips. Of course, knowing that nothing is average about him makes it more of a challenge to envision a normal (whatever that means) future for them.

2. Bones

Booth/Brennan

I've only watched the first season so far but I don't mind spoilers. I love their banter and the way that neither of them is really willing to admit they like the other, despite the fact that they clearly do.

3. Doctor Odyssey

Max/Avery/Tristan
Max/Avery
Tristan/Avery

Very fun! Avery is such a neat character--enjoying her time with the cruise ship but also thinking ahead to med school. I'd like to see her breaking down Max's walls and getting him to feel something again. I'd also like to see her and Tristan together. They've got a shared history and know so much about each other. All three of them together also has great potential. Where else can you be a poly throuple at ease with your partners if not on this madcap ship?

4. Evil

David Acosta & Kristen Bouchard & Ben Shakir

Their friendship gives me life. David and Kristen have a bit of a romantic interest but he's a priest and she's married and I don't believe they'd act against either of those (but if he leaves the church and she gets divorced all bets are off). Ben is such a good friend to both of them. David/Kristen aside, there is something lovely about three grownups from very different walks of life finding a deep connection like this.

5. Letterkenny

Jonesy/Katy/Reilly

Idiot hockey boys. Studs. Beauties. Katy started to date one of them but forgot which one and now they are interchangable. It's also amusing how annoyed Wayne is by them.

6. Pitch

Ginny/Mike

Would love a post-canon look at them.

7. Andor

Cassian Andor/Jyn Erso

They saved the galaxy but broke my heart. Either they don't die, or their relationship gets a speed run in order for something to happen before they die. I have faith in you to make it happen.

I don't mind kids in fic or babies/pregnancy as part of the plot but I generally avoid fics that make them the sole focus. I think I put major character death as a dnw, but the exceptions are Rogue One and Banshee, where major characters sort of tend to die as part of canon.

Here are some ideas for my fandom requests:

Request 1: Rush
(Lawson, Josh, Shannon, Kerry)

I just really like Lawson. Tough guy who listens to classical music. Shit talker who can dish it out but isn't great at taking criticism. No problem finding a romantic partner but old enough that he should've managed to convince one of them to stick around by now.

-Shannon comes from his past. I'd love to see them pre-canon (when they knew each other the first time) or post-canon (after the proposal) or at any point in between.
-Kerry is his boss and he is the number one devotee of her tactical response thesis paper. He respects her, she respects him, they're both arrogant and single. Just saying.
-Josh. I had a theory for a while that the only time Lawson smiled was when Josh was around. It didn't pan out that way in canon but it lives on in my head. A mateship that crosses the line into romance. A fling. Jealousy and competition.

Not all of them need to be included. I'd be happy with a Lawson/anyoftheabove but you could also spin it around and have a Josh/Shannon with Lawson on the outside. (I'm also not opposed to some kind of poly situation).

While it would be nice to have all these characters present in a fic, the fact that Byron and Martin don't cross paths in canon makes that difficult so I'm fine if you pick and choose which characters to include or leave out.

Essentially, I wasn't ready for season 1 to end and I regret not seeing more Byron/Mandy or more Martin/Mandy. This doesn't even need to have a relationship as the main focus--it could be a pre-canon Julian Flynt or a post-canon Martin. The sense of place for this show was huge for me. The drought and the dying small town felt like it's own character.

Request 3: Sea Patrol
(Charge, Spider, Swain, Dutchy, Kate, 2 Dads, Buffer, Bomber)

Uh. Yeah. Literally love all of these characters. Love the banter, the joking and teasing, the way they all have each other's backs even when they're being annoying. Could be a fun gen fic focused on the action of patrol and the mateship between them all. For pairings you could literally convince me that any one of these characters is with any other (I'm not even kidding--you could probably sell me on a Charge/Kate or a Swain/2 Dads if you tried hard enough).

My personal favorites are Buffer/Kate, Dutchy/Kate, Buffer/Dutchy/Kate, and Kate/2 Dads. But Spider/Bomber or 2 Dads/Bomber are also fun. I've also been considering some kind of post canon Buffer/Bomber thing as an option. I'm pretty easy to sway. Charge and Swain are very fun and sort of a Greek chorus to the antics of the others. Although, they both do have their own antics at times.

The only things I wouldn't want are Kate being overly obvious about carrying on a relationship with her crew while still serving together or one of the older guys having a thing with Bomber while still on the same ship.

Request 4: The Killing
(Holder, Linden, Jack, Caroline)

This could just be a Holder and Linden focus without Jack and Caroline. They're interesting characters but I'm not in love with them or anything.

I adore Holder/Linden. I am intrigued by Holder/Caroline. I think Jack & Holder have a fun relationship. Dig into Holder's addiction or Linden's abandonment issues. Give me angst and emotional isolation. Give me dark skies and rain and wool sweaters and cigarette smoke. But also...there could be a lot of happiness post-canon for them. I would like at least a glimpse of hope at the end, if you decide to go angsty/dark with it.

Request 5: Johan Faulk
(Frank, Johan, Seth, Sophie)

Frank & Johan trusting each other. Seth trusting no one. Sophie having this weird attraction toward Seth. Seth having this burning hatred for Frank that eventually fades away. Johan pulling off his grand escape at the end with Seth's help. I definitely can get behind a Seth/Sophie relationship but I also think the friendship between Frank and Johan is worth exploring.

Request 6: The Sommerdahl Murders
(Dan, Flemming, Marianne)

I'm here for Flemming/Marianne but I find the always evolving friendship between Dan and Flemming super interesting. And the changing love that Marianne and Dan have for each other is so great--from in love to bitter to friends to this deep platonic love now that they share a grandson. Misunderstandings, animosity, jealousy...and the maturity to overcome it all and remain friends and colleagues. I'm curious about what a Dan/Flemming or a Dan/Flemming/Marianne would look like (as long as it's got some meat and isn't just pwp).

Well, I've waited so long to write this that you probably already finished the assignment. But in case you haven't, here a few thoughts if you need inspiration. All these pairs are rare enough that I'd love to read anything you write, so don't feel beholden to any of these suggestions.

What if he didn't die? What if they got together, started a relationship, caught the bad guy...then what? What if they catch the bad guy, he goes back to his old job, and they can't stop thinking about what could have been?

Request 3: Holder/Linden
How do they go from her pulling a gun on him and accusing him of betraying her to him hugging her outside the steps of the community center? Would love to explore this missing time. Addiction makes everything more complicated, including relationships, so how do these two navigate that? How does a relationship fit into Linden's life--a life so consumed with work that she sometimes forgets about her own son? I'd also like to see what would happen if Linden met him when he was undercover or with drug squad.

Request 4: Kate McGregor/2 Dads or Buffer or Dutchy or Kate/Buffer/Dutchy
I love Kate McGregor and want her to be happy. Any of these guys are better for her than Mike, even 2 Dads, I'd argue. But Dutchy or Buffer are the more obvious choices and they both so clearly have feelings for her that never get to develop in canon. Buffer and Dutchy never meet in canon but they're both great mates with Kate so it's easy to imagine them knowing each other through her. Lots to play with here.

Request 5: John Doe|William/Elishia McKeller
She's sleeping with a man who has such a limited understanding of the modern world. Surely, there are so many misunderstandings.

Request 6: Sophie/Seth, Frank/Marie
Seth is a bad guy. Sophie is a good guy. Enemies to lovers. Missing scenes. Post-canon.
Frank and Marie have a relationship that is largely off screen because Marie isn't part of this world. But I'd love to see how they met, how she dealt with him entering this world (or learning that he was in this world after she's already fallen for him). There's so little for this fandom, I'd be happy with anything.

Request 7: Penny/Hugh
These two should have so much fanfic written about them! They have chemistry, they have a great flirtation, they banter and argue and have sexual tension. Maybe Hugh tries to be better and clean up his act to impress her. Maybe Penny lets down her guard a little bit. They just needed to trust each other way sooner than they did. A wild night? Locked in a supply closet together? Alternatively, post-canon?

Request 8: Matt/Vladimir
Look, I don't have a ton of ideas for these two but I love an opposites attract romance. Matt doesn't kill; all Vladimir does is kill. I think it would be tricky for Vladimir to find redemption (is there much worse than murder and human trafficking?) but if he could, somehow, in the aftermath of his brother's death and his turning on Fisk, then Matt would be the guy to help him. Matt and Catholic guilt is also a theme I also enjoy.

Request 9: Ed/Gordo, Gordo/Tracy
I think Gordo is fascinating. He's so cocky and absolutely on top of the world in pre-canon and s1 and then at some point he melts down with the ant thing and starts drinking too much and loses hold of his career. I love a broken man and I love that Gordo knows what glory feels like but can't figure out how to get back to it. Maybe this is about him getting closer to Ed (platonic or romantic), using Ed to try and drag himself back up to the light. Or maybe it's him figuring out how to win Tracy back. I'm also interested in him and Tracy pre-kids or pre-canon, in her confronting him about his cheating, or her cheating to get back at him, or a look at an alternative ending for him.

My general likes: angst, pining, sadness, romance, friendship, adventure, humor. I'm good with both happy or unhappy endings. But an unhappy/sad ending is better if it has a dash of hope for the future thrown in. I like post-canon (what happens to the characters after the final episode?) and pre-canon (what were they up to before the first episode?). I also like missing scene fics and fix-it fics, time loops and 5x fics.

My general dislikes: reader insert, second person pov, fluff with no plot. I'm pretty good with any topics but I'm less interested in pregnancy/baby plots and extreme AUs.

Request 1: Patriot (TV 2015)

Characters: John, Alice, Ed

DNW: cheating/adultery, major character death, explicit violence

Ideas: Would like John to be the main focus, regardless of who else is there. John/Alice pre-canon. John, Alice, and Edward--the three of them have known each other for so long. It would be cool to see how the way they relate to each other may have been different pre-canon or post-canon. Immediate post-canon (John arriving in England on the boat). How John/Alice work out post-canon, after she has realized what he actually does for work (if they can get past it).

I just love John. I love his fondness for his brother and his loyalty to his father. I love how much he loves Alice and how he tries to protect her from the violent acts he commits. I love how fucked up doing his job has made him.

Request 2: Rush (TV 2008)

Characters: Josh, Lawson, Michael, Kerry (any)

DNW: major character death

Ideas: I love the four listed characters the most, but I also love the entire ensemble so don't feel like you have to limit yourself. You also don't have to make all four the main focus. I think the show hinted at Lawson/Kerry and it's an interesting idea. I think Lawson/Josh could be a thing. Or, no romantic relationships and just friendship. Lawson and Josh as ride-or-die mates. Lawson as (probably her only) Kerry's friend. I also love Michael and his arc from rookie to undercover. I'd love to see a version where he doesn't die--what does it look like if Michael lives?

Request 3: Southland (TV)

Characters: Sammy Bryant, Ben Sherman, Nate Moretta

DNW: explicit sex, coworker romance

Ideas: Hoping for something Sammy-focused. Sammy and Nate. Sammy and Ben. Sammy and Tammi. Sammy and his passion for the job. Sammy and all the street kids he hates himself for not being able to save. Sammy living at Nate and Mari's house. Sammy losing his shit in the months after Tammi leaves him. Sammy post-canon trying to get his shit together in the aftermath of Ben's betrayal. Sammy as a single father. Sammy dating again, for the first time in a long time.

Request 4: Animal Kingdom (TV)

Characters: Andrew "Pope" Cody, Catherine Blackwell, Lena Blackwell

DNW: child abuse, sexual abuse, gore, explicit violence (yes, I know all these things are canon but let's save Lena from the horrors of her parents childhoods)

Ideas: Andrew!!! Any other characters can be added or subtracted to fit whatever ideas you have. I like the idea that deep down, Andrew has a good heart. Lena definitely brings out what little goodness he has left. Maybe Catherine does, as well? Would like any of the following: pre-canon, post-canon, missing scenes, adventurous heists featuring the ensemble, Andrew/Amy, Andrew/Angela, Andrew trying his hardest to take care of Lena, an AU where Catherine picked Andrew over Baz (how much would that have changed everything?!).

Request 5: Doctor Doctor (TV 2016)

Characters: Hugh, Charlie, Matt, Penny

DNW: anything E rated

Ideas: I would like to read something focused on Hugh. The other characters can be included or not, depending on your needs. I loved Hugh in the early seasons when he was full of himself and embracing hedonism (drinking, drugs, sleeping around), seemingly convinced that he would never face consequences even after he was sent to Whyhope as punishment. I love the will-they-won't-they of Hugh and Penny. I love all the missed opportunities and bad timing between them. Would love to see a post-canon of their relationship or a missing scene of one of the many times they surely must have hooked up and then promised never to mention it (surely!). Also, what is the deal with Hugh and Charlie and Matt? How did Charlie end up with Matt after first dating Hugh?

Request 6: For All Mankind (TV 2019)

Characters: Gordo Stevens, Tracy Stevens, Danielle Poole

DNW: violence, non-canonical major character death

Ideas: This is about Gordo. You can include Ed, Danielle, and/or Tracy as needed.
-Gordo as a womanizing ace pilot.
-Gordo with an ego.
-Gordo as a man losing his grip on reality during his time on the moon. Counting ants and quoting Newhart.
-Gordo falling back in love with Tracy as he watches her journey to be an astronaut.
-Gordo "I don't want to fuck Dani" and Danielle "I don't want to fuck you either"-- their unconventional friendship in s1.
-Gordo and his best friend Ed and all the layers of support and competition between them.
-Gordo and Tracy as America's astronaut sweethearts on the outside but as a crumbling marriage full of distrust and resentment on the inside.

Request 1: Rush (Lawson, Josh, Kerry)

I like all of the Rush characters but especially Lawson (and Josh and Kerry). I can get behind almost anything as long as Lawson is involved. Sad and hopeless, pining and romantic, action and adventure. All of the team and their working relationships and friendships are great. Lawson/Josh or Lawson/Kerry or Lawson/OC. Kerry is very intriguing--she's absolutely wild in her personal life but she literally wrote the book on tactical response.

Request 2: Cardinal (John, Lise)

I love the way they work together. I love how they go from distrust when they first get partnered together to totally on the same page by the end of it. I love the friendship between them as much as the hookup. It would be cool to see what happens next. Do they make things work even though she moves to Toronto or does something else happen entirely? Maybe they reconnect over a case that brings him to the city or her back to town? I think it's so interesting that we got to see a bit of John and Catherine's relationship as well as knowing a bit of Lise and Josh's marriage. Not sure how their previous partners and relationships play into their current lives, but it's something to ponder.

Request 3: Mare of Easttown (Mare, Colin)

Mare is badass and I love her so much. Then Colin shows up with his wide-eyed youth and gives us all a flash of what could be. Do they make sense together? Not really, but I'd root for them anyway. What if Colin was around at the end of the case? What if he doesn't die? What if he gets injured instead? What if Mare's the one who gets shot? Or, what if we accept his death--how does that play out for Mare?

Request 4: Mystery Road (Jay, Mary, Crystal, Simon)

Any character. Jay Swan is one of my favorite characters. Brooding, mysterious, so great at his job to the detriment of his personal life. His ex, Mary and their kid, Crystal--what a family dynamic (I've seen Mystery Road: Origins so don't worry about spoilers). Mary's boyfriend/fling/whatever-they-are, Simon, who ends up being not a great person is another interesting relationship. Jay's reaction to her seeing Simon--how much is that being him upset that Mary is moving on when Jay himself hasn't (?) and how much is him just looking out for her when he realizes Simon isn't what he seems? What about a Jay pov watching everything in his life constantly being a disaster so he anchors himself in work? Or a Mary or Crystal pov watching Jay distance himself constantly? You could weave in the movies and both tv seasons or just focus on one of the tv seasons.

Request 5: Rescue: Special Ops (Jordan, Dean, Chase)

Great team, love all of them. Jordan seems like the black sheep of the team and I love how sometimes he's an extension of the Gallagher brothers and other times he's clearly not included as one of them. Just how shady is Jordan's past? Street racing and boxing? Jordan's my favorite but I definitely also enjoy the shenanigans that Dean and Chase get up to. Throw in Heidi, Lara, Michelle or an OC and make some romance happen or stick with a gen fic of them all hanging out on a day off or doing a rescue together.

Ahoy, Yuletide writer! Here are some of the things I enjoy! (Exclamation points are one of those things!?) I have never written out the specifics of what I like/dislike before so bear with me (this is my first yuletide).

General likes (most things): missing scenes, post-canon, pre-canon, humor, sadness, angst, pining, slash, hurt/comfort, light/mild smut, whump, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friendship, all of the feelings.

General dislikes (just in case...): mpreg, incest, non-consensual sexual activities, underage sexual activities, gore, terminal illness.

Fandom 1: Sea Patrol
Characters: Dutchy, Kate, Buffer

Actually, I love every character in this show (though Mike makes me roll my eyes so hard) but the dynamic between Kate and her two buffers is my favorite. I love that Kate is a strong, independent career-minded woman. But I also love the idea of her falling in love. I love that these characters are always in an adventure but still have time for personal drama. Dutchy and Buffer are great friends to Kate with the potential to be more (for Kate or for each other? idk). I don't think Buffer and Dutchy ever met, but what if they did? Or do they only know of each through their mutual friend, Kate? Maybe one of them stays in bff mode with Kate while the other catches feelings? Also, I don't mind if the fic only focuses on I reject the ending/epilogue of season 5 (2 Dads did not go AWOL, Kate did not abandon her dreams to have Mike's babies, Swain did not die). However, if you need to honor the end of season 5 as canon in your fic, I respect that decision. I'm fine with slash, smut, major character death (if it's used to propel a storyline/provide angst and sadness).

Fandom 2: Rush
Characters: Josh, Lawson, Shannon, Michael

I do love all the characters in this show and how they have varying levels of friendship with one another. I love how close they are to each other but how they still don't know a lot about each other's personal lives, even when they're in relationships. I think the dynamic between Shannon/Josh and Shannon/Lawson are interesting, especially given Shannon and Lawson's past involvement. I also enjoy the friendship dynamic between Lawson/Josh but I also think they'd make an interesting couple. The way they look at each sometimes is with more than professional respect? The issue of Shannon having been involved with both of them could cause drama. What about some sort of a Josh/Lawson/Michael slash? The only thing I'm not stoked on is Shannon/Michael as a romantic thing--I think they work well as friends and house owners. I'd be happy with all of these characters in a fic or only two or three.

Fandom 3: Water Rats
Characters: Any

I love Mick the most because he was so optimistic and exuberant when he first joined the team and his arc of encountering deception and corruption and getting more jaded was so intriguing. I thought the power dynamic between him, Rachel, and Jack was interesting. He knows that Rachel and Jack are in love before anyone else does. Also think the way Frank and Rachel are best friends who keep missing the opportunities to become more than friends was interesting. I love the entire canon ensemble of this show--the divers and the detectives and the boat crew. I also love the way Mick pines for Alex but we never really can tell if she feels anything back.

Fandom 4: The Brokenwood Mysteries
Characters: Breen, Sims

Sims and Breen play off each other so well. Are they friends outside of work? Do they hang out without Mike? Has there been competition between them about promotions ever? Do they always have each others backs or have there been times when they clashed? Is it ever awkward that Breen has a partner at home and Sims seems to be perpetually single? Maybe there was a time when they were both single but would they have even been interested in each other? There are so many open possibilities for these two...I don't have a ton of ideas, just intrigued by them in general.

Fandom 5: The Gloaming
Characters: Alex, Molly

So many mysteries about these two and what they think now that they have been thrust back into each others lives. Maybe a missing scene or a post canon moment between them would be fun-to see if/how they have reconnected.
